Pet: Tobey

Today Tobey came down to greet me like she usually does, with lots of pushing her head into my hand, purring and meowing. She had eaten almost all of the food that opened since yesterday, so I think she is feeling fine. Maybe she was just having a lazy day yesterday! We spent time in the living room after the chores were done, where I amused her by hiding treats or putting them in odd places, which she seemed to enjoy. All is well, and she'll be happy to have you home!

I was a little worried because Tobey didn't come right down to greet me, and she had not eaten all of her food from the open dishes. I found her curled up under the covers, and it wasn't too hard to coax her out to get some treats! She was very friendly and purred like crazy, so I'm assuming she is okay - maybe just in hibernation mode since you are gone. And since she was happy to eat treats, she apparently has not completely lost her appetite! I'll see how much she eats tomorrow and let you know if I have any concerns, but I think she's doing fine.

Today is very dreary and rainy so Tobey had no interest at all in the patio - instead we stayed inside and she purred while I petted her and gave her occasional treats. She even let me brush her a little bit! I keep trying to get her to play, but she pointedly ignores any toys I try to tempt her with - the look on her face says "I'm relaxed with you, but not THAT relaxed!" Hope you have smooth travels home tomorrow.

Tobey came right down to greet me, rubbing against my legs like she was expecting me! She ran upstairs with me to be sure I was doing the chores correctly, and then we went out to the backyard to enjoy the mild weather. She didn't really like the sound of a dog barking somewhere in the neighborhood, but she still got some fresh air and looked around with her big eyes for a while. She's doing great!
